Photowalk in Gettysburg

I participated in this year's annual Scott Kelby Photo walk.  I have participated in the past, twice.

I signed up this year to walk around the Gettysburg National Military Park.  However, since a few members of the US House of Representatives managed to close down the Federal government because they threw a hissy-fit over a law passed by a previous Congress, the park was closed.

We ended up walking in downtown Gettysburg instead.  It probably wasn't as interesting a photo walk for me.  I wanted to play with landscapes a bit, because I'm not so good at them.  But, I spent the day looking for details and fun things in an "urban" environment-- that wasn't quite urban enough.  I am not a city person, but I prefer "real" cities over small towns for hanging out in.

As I have done in the past on photowalks I invented a little sub project to work on while wandering about.  I decided on finding interesting presentations of street numbers on the building.  I smattered a few of them throughout this post.

I'm still trying to choose my entry photo for the walk's contest.  I think I have narrowed that down to two or three choices.  I do know it won't be a street number!
