Second Carnival of the Year

We went to our second, and final, carnival of the year.  I thought it would be fun to get a sister silhouette for my previous shot.

I also realized its been a long time since I really incorporated motion into my pictures.  It is one of the things I really like to do, but somehow let it slip aside.  So, I played with it some today.

I took notice of more dSLRs at the carnival this year than I have ever seen.  It is nice to see more and more people spending some time with photography.  There was one person there taking it very seriously, he was using a huge tripod.  I always wondered how I could use a tripod at the carnival.  Now I know, you just set it up, everyone walks around you except for a few teenagers who deliberately try to photobomb your shot. 

I still don't think I want to carry to a tripod to a carnival though, I think it would suck the fun out of it for me.
