I had a chance to make a few more dance related pictures this year. I don't have too much to say about them-- I said most of what I had to say last year. I chose ones that didn't show identifiable faces.
The top picture one of my favorite "live performance" pictures. The other I nabbed of a singer back in December.
This was pretty interesting scene, and part of a pretty powerful story. I'd try and describe the whole thing, but there is a reason this stuff is called "performing arts", you kind of have to see it performed.
And here I am again with the blurred motion pictures. I like doing this. This isn't my favorite example ever, but I do like the way it looks.
I have gone back and forth on liking this one, and really not liking it. I figure I'd put it out there and see if anyone else wanted to comment on it.
This final one on this post isn't really a
good picture, it is something that I liked the general vibe of, and
think I can build from it with a more deliberate picture in the future. I'd like to do something similar in a more studio setting where I can place it against a completely clean background. The light here is from a big screen I think I can mimic it with a softbox, and keep it off the background.
