Dreary Spring Day
I have written a little bit in the past about my relationship with landscape photography. If anyone has missed it, the short description is I don't like landscapes, and I'm not very good at making them. One of my goals is to change that, or at least part of it. I can learn to appreciate it. I can learn to like trying it. However, I am not sure if I can become good at it. There is a special patience and mindset that is needed. One I feel I am sorely lacking.
I also recently saw a portfolio where almost every image was a pairing of two related photos. That seemed pretty cool to me. I wanted to try allowing my images to play off one another also.
I spent a half hour after work trying my hand some landscape style photography. I specifically set out to get two images that would work with one another.
It was fun. However, every time I see the image on the right I want to stick a person on the path!
