Back to school

This week marks the return to school. For Tobias this was his first day of school, ever. Preschool.

Fun times.


These are, hate to say, mostly snapshots. Mornings here are a bit, crazy. If I was doing this "right" a reflector on camera left would help keep the mids balanced with the highlights. As it was, I opted to keep the midtones and let the highlights fall where they may. They chose blow out.

However, blown highlights or not, these are things I will look back on 10 years from now and try to figure how how Kathryn became 17 so fast, wonder how Tobias got bigger than me, and realize I'm almost 50.

On a somewhat related note, there is a picture on this site that looks eerily similar to my High School math teacher. Awkward (No, seriously, it is so awkward I'm not linking directly to the post.).
