Anyone that has looked at a group of my photos knows I really like motion blur from the subject. Of course this breaks a cardinal rule of photography, but its a stupid rule anyway. How many paintings are razor sharp? Does anyone care?

I also photographed the
pocketwatch again. I'm a little happier with it this time, but I will probably redo it sometime in the future. I changed the setup a bit. First I used a small home-made softbox as the key. I provided fill from an umbrella. If anyone asks I'll post a setup shot. The other major change: I used my DX camera. This allowed me to fill the frame more with the subject using the same lens.
