One of the things I've been doing lately is making abstract images with my phone. The phone is a good choice for this because I'm not too concerned with detail, resolution, or any of the other things other images might require. It is also a good choice because it is a reminder that good photography is more about what I am seeing, not about the camera.
After looking through a handful of these images, I realize what I am currently drawn to are patterns that repeat in some way. It maybe a shape, a color, variations of light and dark, or some other pattern. But, a pattern is apparent in almost all the pictures I pulled off the phone tonight.
