Go Seigen

Today is the birthday of Go Seigen. He is one of the best Go players of all time. At least that is what I have been told, his play is far beyond my ability to evaluate. In honor of his birthday, and Go itself I am posting one of the few photos I have made of my Go equipment.


This image shows a geta, or a net if you prefer the English Go-term. The black stone cannot escape. It will be captured, or be taken off the board at the end of the game. If none of this makes sense to you, and you are curious, hit up the Wiki link above.

Unrelated, maybe, but I wasn't able to take the pictures I wanted to again. Sometimes I think the world conspires against me. However, sometimes, I think it helps me out, a lot. Its a balance.
