Hello, hello...

...baby you called? I can't hear a thing.

Okay, I know not the the best song in the world, except Igor's version is pretty cool.  But I kept thinking of it when I saw this phone in the lobby of a hotel I stayed in recently.  I figured that was a good enough reason to make a picture.

Pictures like this are what make up this post. Items I found and that for one reason or another I decided a picture should be made. Most of the time it was something about the light.

I have taken some pictures of people over the last few months, but I didn't ask permission to post. I know at least one individual would have a panic meltdown if I posted her picture...

I haven't been posting a lot lately, but it isn't for lack of pictures.  I've been spending time reading, trying to play a guitar, and occasionally drawing.  It hasn't left much time for posting.  But, I'll get back in the habit.

This is a picture of the building going up next door to my current office building.  In the early evening the sun hits those ugly walls and make them simply glow.  It alters them from ugly to amazing.  The glass also tends to pick up the blue sky making a nice color contrast.

I think its cool when leaves go transparent because of back lighting. 

There isn't too much to say about these two, except its fall, and I must at least attempt to get some fall colors.  Usually I fail.  I think these would be better with people in them.

And finally, this is from the first fall grilling.  Its fun to grill in the fall because it is usually somewhat dark before you start.  These flames are present in the summer too, you just can't see them.
