Where have I been?

We went to down to North Carolina for a few days this week.  I wasn't expecting to travel down there, but joined Carly at the last minute.

We stayed with my Mother's cousin.  In between visits with family we visited Tweetsie Railroad, and Linville Falls.

I have the "we were there" pictures to prove it!  The falls is a place I could go and try to make a "serious" picture, but that would involve getting up early for neater light, and I'm really not that dedicated to landscapes.  Unfortunately, you can't buy lighting big enough to fake it with landscapes like you can with smaller things.

I will probably make a post later with a few pictures from the theme park.
